Would you buy a shotgun from someone who spells gauge guage?

I keep seeing EE posts where people are listing their shotgun as such and such a "guage". I am always wary of this - as I think that if someone doesn't know how to spell gauge, they may be some kind of gun scammers. Is that just me?

How about a shotgun where they don't tell you gauge, chokes, or any real info about condition. Some people obviously don't have a clue.

How about when they say "surplus to my needs?" I think that's equally suspicious. If it wasn't surplus to your needs, then you still NEED it. And if you need something you won't be selling it.

Deep thoughts about the EE
