Sportsman field pump magnum

Does anyone have experience with these guns ? Wondering if they take 870 barrels? Made buy Remington apparently right before the 870 express came out. Thanks!

I got one of them slightly above express quality mine has the gold trigger as far as I know you can out an express barrel on them.

I have screw in chokes just like the express

Have had one for years. It was the interim between the Wingmaster and the express. All the quality of the Wing, less some fine finish. All the stuff from the Wing will fit.

Well just picked this beauty up , was going to turn it into a tac 14 but its to nice . 28" full choke really nice blueing . my internet research tells me they only made these for 3 years , this one dates to 1985. Not marked 870 but its all 870. Anyone know the value? Only a couple marks on the fore end looks to be very low round count . has the detent to keep mag cap on and a cool little tab that holds the spring in when you take the barrel off.
