Hello all, I have a set of 3 different sized blade sights, and the original one for my rifle, I'm looking to see if there are any aftermarket front sights for eyes that are not quite so good haha, I'm making wide groups at 150 meters with irons, I'd like to tighten that abit, and also a more visible blade sights, or any thing I can paint on the existing one?

I put a dab of white paint on the front sight, then when dry put a dab of fluorescent orange over the white. It really makes the front sight sight stand out even in bright sunlight. Having the white paint under the orange seems to make it even more visible than straight orange.

Ok, thanks, I'll give it a try, I was actually thinking about that I put silver on a magpul mbis sight, worked decent lol

There is another trick you can use: push the front sight to the left HALF the width of the sight blade itself, then aim with the upper right CORNER of the sight.

Works with the SMLE, works even better with the Number 4, Garand and other rifles with aperture sights.
