Hey guys...I am totally excited about this and want to share it with my CGN brothers. I am flying out to Whitehorse on the 19th...next wednesday. I can't sleep. I will meet my cousin, get tags, groceries and beers, wobly pop and we're off 'till the end of the month. My game will be a 50" or better moose and a mountain cariboo. But I gotta tell you, I'm coming home with with nothing less then trophy animals, so keep your tails on OK.

I'll be packing my beloved 375 H&H and the .338WM as a back up rifle. My cousin has a grizz tag too. I'll bring lots of pics, hopefully I can amaze you guys with a monster size rack and a grizz. But I'll do my best and hunt like a dog. Wish me the best and good luck to you guys in "your" efforts. F'n Yeeeeehaw :):):):)

Remember to bring along something that works for blackflies! Just came back from the range 10 minutes ago and they are thick.
No relief till it hits -10c and 6 inches of snow.
Enjoy your trip up to my neck of the woods. Be successful and be safe!

Have fun....

One of these days I'll have to pester a Yukoner to take me out for moose and Caribou. My buddy guided in Yukon last year, and I was amazed at the size of the caribou they took...:runaway:

Have a great time! I'm heading out to try an fill a general Mulie tag on the 16th but as I look around me I realize i'm so freeking over prepared I could pull out in the next 1/2 hour and stay away for a month.

You're gonna have an awesome time you lucky bugger  Are you guys going out by horse? boat? atv? Good choice of cartridges for the hunt. Monster moose and bad tempered mountain grizzlies are a great reason to own and use .375's and .338's. Keep us posted, take lots of pics and have fun :D

I'm letting my cousin guide me on this one, we're going mostly by boat and on foot. :D
