Colt Canada Diemaco C7A2/C8A3 rubber butt pads

I've only seen the buttpads glued on by techs trying to keep them on before they just went missing. Don't see it as often these days outside of beaten up school rifles.

Thanks for this info Lerch. Would you know which type of glue they used?
Also how does this pad come off the stock, is it stretching the flaps from the sides?

When they first came out, they were not glued and we used rubber cement.

To put it on, you start from the bottom and pull it over the top, It can be a pain in the butt.

Thanks Dsiwy. So I guess once it is glued, it's like permanent and no chance of taking it off. I think with this thick pad, it will last buttstock's lifetime.

Once it's on it's on for good and don't glue it while on the gun, especially with the butt collapsed lol.
