Here's mine, a BRNO 22F 7x57 made in 1949
By the way, I just got written confirmation from the Ontario MNR that 7x57mm is ALLOWED in the areas that fall under the .275 cal or less rule.

That "written confirmation from the MNR" will not protect you!
In the 2007 hunting regulations booklet, it is states on page 71 under the small game regulations:
The holder of a small game license may not use a rifle of greater caliber than .275, except a flintlock or percussion cap muzzle-loading gun, for hunting small game in the counties of Brant, Elgin, Essex, Huron, Lambton, Middlesex, Northumberland, Oxford, Perth and Wellington and the regional municipalities of Chatham/Kent, Durham, Haldimand-Norfolk, Halton, Hamilton-Wentworth, Niagara, Peel, Waterloo and York and the City of Toronto.
Is .275 greater than .275? Its right on the edge of the limit which is why I wanted it clarified. 7.00mm = .2755 cal. A pseudonym of 7x57mm Mauser is .275 Rigby.
Yes the bullet is .283 but the bullet is .277 for 270 Winchester.
In any case, I have it in writing from the ministry.
A simple search on this site would clear up your misconceptions
You've got to be kidding?
The next time I conceal carry in Canada, I guess I have present evidence from CGN instead of an official government agency![]()
