Sellier and Belliot 7.62x25 non magnetic?

I am wanting to buy some Sellier and Belliot 7.62x25 online for shooting indoors at a range where
they are concerned about the possibility of magnetic jacketing on bullets causing damage.

Does their new production ammo have non-magnetic jacketing?

The retail packaged SB 7.62 Tokarev are non-magnetic.


PS. Steel-jacketed (bi-metal) projectiles in pistol ammunition do not cause any damage to the back stop.

That may be the case but it's usually the fire hazard they create that is the issue. I know ####ty ranges like TSE have caught on fire from guys shooting steel jacketed ammo.

Guess those indoor ranges are not cleaned properly. Never heard of that as being a primary issue.

Shredded paper and unburned gunpowder makes for a massive fire hazard. More modern ranges have rubber backstops so sparks are not an issue.

True but if there is shooting down range I'd assume a proper clean up takes place.

At $18/50 I'd buy it by the case. S&B x25 is great ammo. 1550fps from a TT-33 and very clean and accurate.

Thanks for letting me know about that S+B 7.62x25, I have been looking for non-magnetic rounds. Are there any surplus rounds that are not steel jacketed?
