Before anyone gets upset, I did a search and could not find an answer.
I just put together an AR10 and took it to the range for the first time today.
NO JOY!
The BCG fed from the mag properly, fired, and locked back on the empty mag.
Problem was the spent case that was left in the chamber.
I had to knock the case out of the chamber using a cleaning rod. The case wasn't stuck tight, a light tap removed it.
I looked at the case rim, and it looks like the extractor may have rose backwards over the case rim, and did remove a very small piece of the rim
from inside the rim. I had to look closely to see it.
I removed the extractor and it has 1 spring and an o ring. It is very easy to manipulate.
Should there be 2 springs? I cleaned the bolt before using, maybe I lost a spring.
Maybe try different ammo?
It is a Faxon BCG and 16" mid length Faxon barrel. Upper receiver is Aero Precision upper receiver.
Ammo is S&B 147gr. FMJ.
Thanks.

There should be a "snubber" installed inside the extractor coil spring & an industry standard #006 O ring installed around the flared(larger diameter) end of the extractor spring.

Remove said BCG from upper.
Slip a piece of brass under the extractor claw in bolt.

Extractor should set parallel w/ BCG.
If extractor protrudes/not parallel w/ BCG the extractor is out of specification & requires modification.

In my experience, an AR extractor should be _hard_ to manipulate. Take your BCG to a local gun shop [I believe there's a good one in your area] and get an expert opinion.
