Loading pistol ammo has made me attempt to make a functional powder trickler. The RCBS powder thrower is all over the map and I'm not investing in a electronic powder throwing machine or another manual setup. I have a ton of Arduino stuff laying around so I figured I'd make a manual trickler with a servo motor.
Very nice so far with parts scavenged from an old meccano set, an Arduino, A servo driver board and much patience.

Anyone got a working version of this type of thing?

Cool project! I don't have the time to mess around with this sort of thing, but it's nice to see! One day when I have the space and money id like to build my own auto trickler...

I have, sort of :)
Mine does not have arduino control or has a digital scale attached and is a bit more basic with an optical sensor and latching relay circuit hooked up to my balance beam scale.

I use it only to top up the last bit, so I throw a charge slightly under the desired weight then the trickler tops it up.
I'd like to believe that this is as fast as a trickler that trickles the whole load lol.

Fun winter project! Keep us updated about the progress.
