Anybody in for a 9mm lever action

After Justin gets his way, a manually operated repeating firearm without a detachable magazine might be appealing...

I wouldn't hang your hat on him not wanting to get those high powered cowboy assault rifles off the streets. Load on Sunday, and shoot all week!

Heck Australia was thinking on reclassifying them, weren't they? Or was just the shotgun? Then wait a couple years before tightening the ratchet.

Shot show is coming soon. I would wait till that kicks off before I start wishing for random new things.

I would not be surprised to see lever and bolt action PCCs because....reasons.

If some one can make an affordable and reliable 9mm lever action I would buy it. I would be more interested in a bolt action though. But only is its cheap because I can't figure out a practical reason for such things

I think a bolt in 10mm would be interesting.

I’d be down. There was a movie where that used a Model 94 mocked up with an Uzi type magazine. It looked sweet. However if someone makes one, it’s gotta be a short throw like the BL22. I’m not cocking 90 degrees for a tiny 9mm.

9mm carbines are great fun to shoot and great for dealing with pests like coyotes. They are also suitable for some hunting applications.

I tend to view them as a 22 on steroids. If you like plinking with a 22 lever action, you will love plinking with a 9mm lever action. If s If anyone actually gets around to making one. :)

Plenty of traditional levers around in .38/.357, .44, .45...and plenty of 9mm semi-auto carbines. I'm a lever guy but I wouldn't be interested in a lever 9.

Would love to see something like a browning t-bolt in 9mm. With Marble arms irons. Wouldn’t care what mag it fed from. Even if it was from a small proprietary mag. Just a lite, handy 9mm manual action carbine.

I'd be all over a 9mm lever gun. I love my Marlin 1894 CST and tend to run more .38 through it than .357, so 9mm would be perfect and would allow me one less caliber to keep on hand since I have other 9mm platforms already.

I really don't get the 10mm boner that exists in the gun community. Looking past my own personal bias against 10mm, given the price of the ammo there are already options that exist.

I wouldn't say boner. But when I thought of a trim, small action carbine, 16" barrel, pistol mags, it may have moved a little. It's rimless, and would be a nice in between cartridge from .22 Hornet, and say .35 Rem.

might have to make it a controlled feed like an Old Cooey 60...cartridge lifts into the extractor as the bolt goes back instead of scooping it up as it goes ahead.
Lotta re-engineering IMO
