Picked this Grade 3 Medallion up from consignment at Corlanes a few months back. New in the box and unfired!
Shot it only a few times so far and it is accurate. 270 Winchester, 22" octagon barrel.
I was happy to find it and just wanted to share.

Nice rifle and thanks for sharing some pics. I've always preferred the raised cheek on any high power rifle. Browning only did this on limited runs. The White Gold rifles were the only ones I recall that went into production for LH shooters. The hex barrel adds a nice touch to your rifle.

You sir are an Evil Man !!
That is a mighty fine looking shootin iron that somehow had been neglected.
Congrats on rescuing the ole gal.
If you ever fall outta favour shoot me a pm,lol.
Thanks for sharing,
Rob

I was an A-Bolt fan for many years, and that one is beautiful. I also have never seen an octagon barrel on an A-Bolt... is that a custom aftermarket feature or was it a factory floor version? Regardless, very nice rifle, excellent find... it deserves to go afield.

Yes the barrel was factory installed as part of their Grade 3 upgrade, which I have never seen in person until now.
The trigger is excellent too after a spring change.
It was a neat find for a fair price. And I'm always a sucker for an old rifle in great shape.

You can't go wrong with that rifle... and chambered for a wonderful and "underrated" (;)) cartridge... that would look very nice posed over a gnarly old buck.
