Any Model 29 without the Altermont wood grips is lacking a big part of the vintage look, these rubber grips dont seem right. 29-2 is the desirable one with the pin -recess ass'y.

Why would they? It's on consignment so Western didn't set the asking price. Maybe they will use these comments when they try and convince their client to lower his or her price to something more in line with market value.

Yes, that's a good point. I know of local shops that won't take consignments if they don't agree with the price for just that reason.
