Hi all,

My Grandfather was a police officer in the Sudbury Police Force for many years. Upon retirement, he purchased his Colt 32cal police revolver. It has since gone to my Dad.

My Dad was also given a 45cal Smith and Wesson which was used on the railyards to scare off those jumping trains. This one is a real antique.

Anyway, both handguns are registered and have all the proper documentation.

He would like to sell them to a legitimate handgun dealer or collector.

Can anyone recommend a dealer or collector?

Thanks,

Mountain Man

I believe this IS the forum to ask " IF ANYONE COULD RECOMMEND A DEALER OR COLLECTOR?" NOW, if he was trying to sell them here, it is the wrong forum. You could try www.marstar.ca or http://ellwoodepps.c finish the com. Try ARMCO at the top of the page or any of the others that advertise here they are all reputable businesses.

I agree. You were only asking about a dealer to sell your guns to and not trying to sell them here.

The title of your post must of thrown a few guys off.

Of course the dealers will give you much less than what they will sell them for. You could eliminate the middle man and put them up for sale here in EE. You never know who will bite. The antique could go for a lot.

I mentioned to him that the 32 was a 12-6 prohib...I have status, I was curious what he wanted for them....oh well...was interested in both possibly, I imagine others around here where too:runaway:
