Bluetooth capable shot timer?

AMG Labs works and it is the only BT timer right now. There is also rangetech one, but I would not consider it for using at matches.
PS: for a full disclosure, I may have something to do with adding support for both said timers in PractiScore app for Android

Isn't there a two month waiting period for even getting one? You can't just purchase one today and get it shipped to you in a week. That's the only thing that sucks about this one because I agree, it seems to be the best one out there.
So, if you had ordered it 4..8 weeks ago you'd have it now. Just sayin'
I ordered am AMG to try out. It hasn't arrived yet but the more i think about it the more i think $256 just to send the time to the tablet is a bit pricey. I Can almost buy two RU Readyès for that price and add the extra 5 seconds to punch the time into the tablet.
Walter, it takes is much longer than 5 seconds to punch every split received during a given stage or string.
It lasso records all the splits, displays them easily and I think if you have PractiScore Competitor app you can view them.

Looking forward to using them. Probably will get their first big test in Mid January at our IPSC Level 2 then.
My biggest headache when it comes to matches is that email or call on Monday with "There's no way Bob shot that stage in 10% of the time that the others did."
I am hoping this is cured with the Bluetooth timers from AMG inputting the time directly into the tablets - removing the human element causing the error.
As an aside; I did have someone at the US Lo-Cap Nationals tell me a company that makes a lot of timers now is developing a Bluetooth solution, but he was under an NDA and couldn't say who.
Whether it works with Practiscore when it comes out or not will remain to be seen; right Euxx?

This! And also you can see if there wasn't all shots recorded from the last position. The AMG timer can be set to a high sensitivity (especially for PCC), though RO still have to do his job. Unless, of course, you put timer on a competitor and use remote start from the scoring tablet. B-)
The split times are shown on the scores review screen, so RM can review them even after the fact.
Some company that makes a lot of times been telling me they working on BT timer. But that is going for 4 years now. They also wanted me to implement support for their's without sending me a test device. I can do some magic but there are limits...
Before AMG, I tried to contact all of them, including RU Ready. But none seemed interested in investing into R&D for that. Alex from AMG popped up out of nowhere and asked if we are interested in connecting a BT timer (which he didn't have at the time) with PractiScore. A month after I've got a production-quality prototype from him and had it working with PractiScore within a few days.
I did the same for RangeTech timer and ProChrono link in PractiScore. I just need a test device.

Oops - sorry, I should have mentioned they're for my section's use; IPSC Nova Scotia.
They're not for resale.
Though not all manufacturers are the same, e.g. LabRadar didn't want their product integrated with PractiScore.
I have one and they work very well, I have brought up the idea of buying them for our section. The only issue is our indoor range that we use for IPSC doesn't have any sound deadening so it records two shots for every open shooter. The range did add some sound deadening to one of the bays which eliminated this issue, so if they do the same with the rest of the bays we could use them for our ipsc matches.
We use them at the concrete walls and metal sealing indoor range and I can tweak sensitivity to record one shot for Open and PCC, but not under one setting - using 2 profiles, one for quiet and one for loud. RO can switch between timer setting profiles, maybe I'll add automatic switching for division/pf in some future.

When running a match and getting a final score for a stage for someone's run; the only shot that counts is the last one.
It really doesn't matter if the timer picks up echos indoors. Echos matter when training and trying to work on splits, draws, etc; but I wouldn't worry about it at a match.
