I'm looking at getting a tokarev frame or 3 from S&J Hardware since they have them on sale. Was just curious if anyone knows where I could get a parts kit for one? I've tried google but haven't had any luck.

It’s called: “buy another Tokarev and steal it’s parts”. Same with the SKS. However, that does kind of deafest the purpose of your venture. Why don’t you just buy a complete Tokarev?

Ive wondered the same thing. A stripped Tok receiver and bag of parts is a fun christmas idea.

A receiver that I can never reasonably make into a firearm is uninteresting to me.

I was going to buy some frames since they're so cheap, but I was hoping I could build at least one of them into a functioning firearm so that I could shoot it.

edit: words

Those stripped frames serve one purpose, having a registered handgun in your name. If you want something to shoot, buy a complete gun. Parts kits dried up years ago as far as I'm aware.

The whole purpose of the frames was to get as many restricted guns out into law abiding PAL holders hands (if I remember the dealer ads for this) for the least amount of money invested ($70 I believe or so?)

That being said, I used to have a mad fetish for TT33's, parts are available here and there. Ebay surprisingly used to have a guy in Europe somewhere that would ship firing pins and all sorts of parts for pretty cheap! I always had spare firing pins and spring etc
You will have a hard time finding a ready to go, all up TT33 kit package minus just the frame.
I would advise buying one or two and just stripping them complete for parts. You can sell the parts you don't need and just scrap the frames and have them removed from your PAL/circulation. Or just give them away for free on EE!
The cost and pain to buy and source individual parts to build that thing up to slinging lead would be highly frustrating and a LOT. Definitely a lot more than buying an all up $170 gun off the EE brother.
