GSG 16 needs old tri handguard where to order

Anyone know where to get the old handguard from in Canada or the US, Hero is sold out.

Also would like a HK drum rear sight.

Drum sight wont work unless you mill the end of the receiver off to compensate for the extra height, or put on the gsg522 conversion kit as it has a taller front sight tower
 
I am still working on both the MP5 hand guard and rear sight. Rear sight is probably less than a week away, hand guard is probably a couple weeks away. I was hoping to have the hand guards available before Dlask rolls out the short barrels...

Consider this one point. For those who have the GSG 5/522 conversion kit. If the kit is installed the new front sight assembly ends up lower than the original. A lower rear sight would be needed.

The rear sight is only being designed to fit the GSG-522 kit, it is not for the stock gun. That is what set me back so far on that project. Originally I was designing a front/rear combo for the stock gun then I installed my 522 kit.... Good riddance to the horrible stock front sight.

Check your PMs. Literally just came off the printer.
 
FWIW the CYMA mp5 airsoft stock fits perfectly on mine. No mods, pin holes line up perfect and are the same diameter. Need to give the butt a slap on the ground to get it seated, it's a snug fit.
 
I just made my own along with some other goodies...still working on the rear sight

Just finished filing down the rear stock sight block and fitted the HK drum sight. Used a bit JB Weld (old slow curing type) just to fit it close as possible.

The rear sight seems to line up fine according to my laser bore sight, hope to get out some day.

Repurposed an old scope I had with a filed down HK style claw mount as well.

Was hoping Walmart Greeter could send me a slightly longer top rail delete.
