Rangefinder for $300ish recommendations

looking to but a rangefinder for the brother in law. Budget wise would like to stay around or under $300.

I was thinking Sig kilo 1000 but would like some recommendations in that budget range.

Would like to buy new. I see the Vortex Impact 850 is in my price range, anyone have one?

Have a look at the Nikon 7i. It ranges really well, you can get a thousand yards out of it.But the glass is not as clear as a vortex Viper.
