RUGER AMERICAN RANCH RIFLE in 5.56 accepts AR-Style Mags

I am wanting a bolt action in 5.56 that can also accept the LAR mags and decided on the Ruger American Ranch but I cant seem to find them anywhere in Canada. I was wondering if someone knew where I could get one of these. I see that most carry the version with the flush mags but not the AR-Style mags. The one I want is model #26965 vs the flush model version being model #6965.

I'm looking for one of these too as a jack of all trades utility type rifle, and do my own reloads for it
Will have to give those guys a shout
Having detachable 10 rounders will be a really nice bonus

If you are really horny for bigger mags, Magpul makes the Hunter stock for the American, and it takes AICS mags. You get to ditch the garbage American plastic stock for something decent and get better mags then AR15.

I talked to prophet river and they have 3 of the rifles with the ar mags coming in Monday. 2 were sold as of yesterday.

I bought an American for $399 new a few years ago...how are they $800 now? They do not belong in the $800 bracket, hell the RPR's are not much more when they go on sale.

I don't think I've ever seen the 556 AR one for less than 799.00 but, of course, it very very could have been.
