Does anyone know how many ClassicGreen Carbines and CQB's are in Canada.

These are the lowest hanging registered fruit and (should the Libs actually follow through on a promise) will be easy to expropriate.

The proverbial canary in the coal mine for us...?

I don't know what more proof you need? The canary is already passed out in it's cage. This isn't a piecemeal 'will this rifle be ok...' scenario, where we're picked off one by one.

The list when it arrives will be comprehensive and no doubt - based on JT's fellation of Arden - ruinous.

I'm with you BioPace. These guns should be proven to be converted autos before prohibitions happens. Anything less is undemocratic.

They never said they were converted autos. They were reclassified to be variants of a named prohibited rifle.

Nothing is "safe" from confiscation. Just because a firearm is grandfathered doesn't mean it can't be confiscated by an act of parliament or a modified OIC.

"Granfathering" is confiscation unless it is allowed to be passed on to the next generation when you die

I’m willing to take my chance on buying one even if it goes prohibited. If anyone has a Swiss Arms 553 Classic Green with the diopter site and a Swiss or B&T top rail for mounting an optic that they would be willing to sell I would be willing to pay $4,000-$6,000 depending on the condition and what it comes with. PM me.
