UPDATE - My Type 97 Gen 2 Experience so far: Wondering Zero, huge POI shifts and jams

The original post is here, it is well worth reading for context and it would be unfair to make any judgements without carefully reading it.

To summarise initially the supplier refused to take the rifle back and passed me on to the importer, I sent the rifle to the importer with a wealth of testing as outlined in my original post (seriously read it).

After 6 weeks I was given my money back as store credit.

However the supplier representative put a bit of a downer on the call when she said that the only reason they were giving me credit was to keep a good relationship with me. To which my thought was that that was somewhat unfair as the rifle was a dud.

The rifle isn't a dud; it's just crap. You were a whiny ass in public, so they bowed to you as it was cheaper and easier than telling you to go pound sand and dealing with you going forward.

As a side note, I'd like to give the finger to those in the forum who were nothing but defeatists and essentially just said "Suck it up" and "It's your fault you bought Chinese". I will never understand why you take the time to produce nothing constructive and purely negative.

Post here asking for advice - don't like the advice. Complain about advice. The vendor and importer told you the same thing too - nothing wrong with the rifle. Just you.
