Who uses or plans to use a Win 1894 for the season this fall? I just wanted to get an idea since I don't hear so many folks talking about it anymore, its always big, fancy scoped stuff now etc etc.

Anyone use 32 Win Special? Thoughts and opinions?

I will use my mod 94 big bore 356 . It worked last year (a nice 8 point) or maybe my 30-30. Both are great rifles. All you need out to 200 yards. The 32 special similar balistics to the 30-30.

As fancy as my other rifles may be I have a feeling it will be my 94 in 30-30 that gets my first deer this season.
It's just so darn handy to pack around and shoot. :)

I shot a nice buck with my old 1899 38-55 Sav last year.
Shot many deer with an old 1899 303S Carbine.
This year I'll add an old 1899 30/30 Short Rifle T/D to the mix.
On of these years I' take my pre64 M-64 in 32S for a walk & see what she will do too!:)

I would love to take my first buck with my 16" Win 94 Legendary Lawman

Thats exactly what I have been packing out these last five years! Still as heavy as a regular 94 carbine, but so much shorter and easier to get around!

I want to try the 32 win spec this fall though, see how it goes. Where we go, I find we don't usually have more than a 100 in distance to any potential game, so the 94's are usually just the ticket.
