Recently required a whole whack of IMR 4350 all same lot number AUG 29th of 94 L6560. Powder was stored in maybe colder condition then should have been but seals were not broken. Some of the tins on top side have wee bit of rust. I opened a couple up and they still smell good, put some on a paper towel and no dust to see no rust on inside of containers ,but some of the kernels aren’t black anymore if I knew how to load pictures I would . Any thoughts if it’s good or starting to go bad?

Thanks

Yes defiantly just solvent smell. Ok that makes sense graphite just rubbing off. Would you open all the sealed tin cans and pour them into newer plastic containers?

Depends.

If you use an 8 pounder in a season - yes, mix it all into one uniform lot.

But if it is going to last you another 10 years, keep the little cans sealed.

I have purchased very recently produced IMR4350. 2018. Some of the powder particles were not thoroughly coated in the grey graphite. They were a yellowish colour.
Nothing wrong with the powder.
Reload-Shoot-Repeat
