Actually got four dumps of the white stuff while I was over in the OK this year. Certainly made for decent tracking, when there were tracks to be found. Noticeable lack of whitetails in many areas out there this time around. But I did manage a couple, and man-o-man agree they ever fine chewing!

About a cup of Olive Oil
2 capfuls of Balsamic Vinegar
3 - 4 tablespoons Lemon Juice
2 tablespoons Garlic & Herb Spice
2 tablespoon Montreal Steak Spice
2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 tablespoons dehydrated onion
Mix that and let sit for ~ 1/2 hour.
Then pour a little in the bottom of the dish, toss in steaks, and smother.
Let sit a minimum of 2 hours, maximum 6.
Grill and baste with what is left in the dish.
Focus on rare, it will go medium rare by itself once pulled from the fire.
