Very nice!! Good to see a few bucks from the effort, those coats look excellent.
I do mine in my garage which has a gas furnace.
Walk in refrigeration...sweeeet. I have plans on doing something like that as well for the sept elk season....just havent had the $$ to do it.

I bought the cooler unit used from a local company. $1600 installed. Have not used it as much as I was hoping but have had a few lambs, elk, bear and deer hang in it over the years. The biggest problem I have found is it sometimes takes longer to clean the shed up from doing fur then it takes to cut up the meat hanging in the cooler. I was thinking of building a dedicated meat cutting room on the other side of the cooler. It might happen in the next few years once the kids leave home (hopefully) and I can start down sizing in the toy department.
Was talking to my register trapper friend the other day and he tells me the Fur Harvester's have bought the building in Winnipeg that was owned by NAFA. The lady that use to manage the operation for NAFA has also now gone to work for FH's. She also said that there is still talk about NAFA going again once they get their debt restructured which won't happen this season. FH's has an agent come through the area twice a year but it is sure nice to know they have made a bit of a commitment by buying assets where we can drop off our fur when it starts to pile up.

Just thought Id share some pics of my passion of predator hunting here in southern SK. Im very fortunate to have some of the best coyotes in NA out my back door and there is nothing Id rather hunt then a coyote (call me weird). Was out today and shot 2. Heres a some pics of whbat I do with a coyote from start to finish.

Big open country I hunt, this shot was morning with some fog. Shot one off this area. This spot is always money!!
Always have my favorite skinning knives. Ive bought custom knives costing hundreds and nothing seems to work as well as these cheap knives I bought at Dam Beaver supplies. About $20 a knife and are perfect.
My fleshing Knife a Necker 600....Learnt on it and love it. Also cant go with my Havalon, its a Godsend for fine work.

And when they are all done and hanging!! Ready to sell.

Dont know what scott_r uses, but I know a couple guys locally here do that.
The raid and trash bag routine and then into the freezer if things are slow.

our Red Foxes are on the nose a bit, but nothing like the "Wild Dog" and even Alpine Dingos smell! its horrid lol.
We only get a bounty of $120 aud for Dog scalped nose to tail, and a measley $10 for Red fox face scalp
