A few months back I saw some picture postings of a recently-arrived shotgun in what I believe is one of the dealerships out West, though it might have been Ontario. It was a "tactical" shotgun with a synthetic stock, and I think it was a Benelli, Beretta, or Fabarm. It had a 14" barrel, built-in firesights, and maybe a semi-pistol grip stock, though I can't remember for sure. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

fabarms is a hell of a 14" gun for the price.
If you not stuck on the standards like rem 870 and mossy ect
the fabarms offeres the whole deal Ghost rings rail ect.
Most of the other 14" shotguns you have to buy and have your smith put that all on.
Most peopel will say that you can get alot of after market rem and mossy parts to "pimp" you shotgun, but fabarms offers alot of cool parts to.
As well we my compnay is making a line of cool stuff for the fabarms, 1st thing has been the single point sling mount, somthing that really was missing from there line up as far as i see it

Oh man those both look awesome. It was probably the Fabarm I was thinking about if that's the one that uses a ghost ring and front firesights. Though some of those other Italian shotgun looked manufacturers' offerings looked pretty sleek, if I remember right.

Yeah, in fact the Benelli M4 14" semi-auto (ok, not really a pump) FABARM Martial Proforces 14" both seem to really fit the bill. I think the latter is sold out right now though. Decisions, decisions.

You guys are thinking of the Knoxx Sidewinder conversion, which let you use a 10-round drum or a 6-round box on a Remington or Mossberg; Knoxx has discontinued them now, but they are still floating around out there.

both the Fabarms and the Valtro have fiber optic friont sights.

I wasn't aware there was a 14 inch Benelli semiauto sold here - if it were, it would be restricted .

Also, Canarm will be bringing in moderately priced tactical (including magazine fed) shotguns, .there is a rather long thread on it somewhere.
