Could the Pilsbury dough KevinB please not destroy those AK mags and save them for his American friend in the states who has 3 AK's to collect mags for. Steel mags are getting more and more expensive and scarce here in the states. Please, please save them for me ------------do it for the children------my children.

Kev,

Just wondering...were those 10 round Wilson's new mags??? Generally, new Wilson's will run best if they've been pre-loaded for a couple of days prior to use. I've got at least 20 Wilson mags in 8rd & 10rd configurations. When I pre-loaded the new mags a couple of days before taking them to the range, I had zero problems with those mags. I deliberately kept some of the new mags from the same shipment in the plastic and only loaded them upon arrival at the range. I had some stoppages due to those mags. I've repeated this test several times and have come up with the same results.

The "problematic" magazines all run fine now, after a break-in period, with zero issues.

If they aren't new mags, then your springs are probably a little weak. The new Wolff springs should fix you right up. :)

The mags are 3-4 months old - they have been shot a bit - and had been working prior.
I got some good info re: springs elsewhere - also the question might be that due to the usage the polymer follower may be toast.

Also ordered some 10rd CMC mags.

My flight suit was open - hence it billowing.
I'm not really that fat in real life.

LOL

It was the mag springs - I pulled one - stretched the spring (figured the mag is bad now - why not see if its just the spring) and reloaded it - and manually cycled it thru the gun - locked back... When it would not just five min before...
