how much rifle is to much rifle?

LOL, how about both barrels together!

As a teenagers my buddy dared me to shoot his fathers double barreled 10 guage side by side both barrels at the same time ...that was interesting!

Fired a 510 Wells built on a Ruger No.3 one time...twice...knuckle buster with that lever! Never need to do that again! LOL

The friend who had it build had to repair the broken Bell and Carlson synthetic stock after the first two shots. I shot it in the original wood stock.

Honestly...any firearm that you cannot shoot accurately is too much rifle! And there is such a thing as too much of a good thing! LOL

But if you have to, be prepared...

Not overly comparable to those rifles but my 8.5 pound 460 weatherby mag is quite a bit of rifle and im assuming when my 9 pound 500 jeffery is done it will be quite the thumper too

You never know when you might get drawn for a T-Rex hunt. I hear that tags are hard to get. You would not want to miss out because your rifle is back ordered!

And I’ve yet to see one without a brake.

That's part of why that 700 is so impressive. 1000 gr bullet in an unbraked rifle that you can shoot offhand. Most 50BMG rifles are fired from a bipod or rest. The 50 BMG is a much more powerful cartridge but they are housed in pretty big guns. My 50 BMG is over 30 lbs, and while I've shot it offhand for fun, it's not like you could be super precise with it or operate the bolt and reload quickly while off hand. :)

Years ago I had a very light custom 375-338 mag. Hardest kicking rifle I’ve owned thus far. That thing makes my old rifle look like a .22 plinker

That guy (Cameron) is impressive to watch shooting that 6 and 700. He doesn’t even blink.

This is impressive as well.
