I'm looking at buying some SGM 9mm Glock Luger 10/33 magazines for my Gen 2 Kriss Vector and I was hoping someone might be able to share their experience with them. I like the looks of the metal feed lips over the poly magpul ones on the magpul pmag, I have one and it's not faring very well. Thanks for any input.

I've got one of these long pinned mags which came with my TNW Aero and 4 of the shorter Magpul mags. All feed just fine. I'm actually a bit more concerned about the metal lips in the long run, as they seem more likely to deform with use than the glass reinforced plastic lips on the others... but then again I'm sure these guys know what they're doing. And the SGM mags get some solid ratings from various users discussing them online, so they seem reliable. Bit silly though, for our 10 round limited Canadian use in a Glock-compatible PCC. I wouldn't have bought one on its own as all that plastic hanging out the bottom for no reason seems a bit pesky. But it came with mine so I'll use it in rotation with the rest.

Thanks for the info.

I don't disagree with that for the TNW Aero with it's short mag well. The vector has a full depth mag well (140 mm) so doing off hand reloads it make it easy to grab the empty mag when there is something sticking out. The plastic lips are wearing away on the mags that came with my used gun so I'm not sure which would last longer.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Didn't think about how buried the mags are with a Vector. Definitely a difference in both looks and handling. I'm not so worried about magazine swapping efficiency with mine, rather the wobbliness of the mags bothered me, so I glued in a thin shim of aluminum and polished it on the front face. My mags fell free on button release as stock, not they need a bit of a pull, and a soft push to insert. Zero wobble which fits my slightly OCD needs. Haven't had opportunity enough shooting mine yet to see any wear on magazine lips... but I suppose that's something to think about. Guess I'll stock up on more 10/15 or 10/17 PMAGs when they're on sale.

I have a bunch I bought for the vector gen 2 and they all have an issue with the bolt hold open. You will need to file down the ridge a bit because they hold open the bolt release tab even with rounds in the mag. It was pretty annoying to have the bolt hold open every other shot. But the filing fixed it. It didn't have any issues with my TNW asr or Glock 19 however.
