28 ga: Semi or SxS?

I cannot help here
I don't know the last time I bought any factory 28ga ammo. 25 years ago maybe
I still use 100% old AA and federals when I know a semi is involved and hulls will be lost
Never a problem in any model so pretty much says ammo today is the issue
Cheers

Looked at the Ithaca M37.
Looks like a nice shotgun, and with the option of AA or AAA wood, would be a very nice looking gun. Also like the straight/field grip vs the pistol grip.
Reviews have been good too.
May be an option!

Ive got the exact gun listed for sale on EE right now, AA English stock, gorgeous little gun.

WOW she is beautiful. I have a NIB standard wood here and it looks like a PIS compared to that
Cheers

Yes, I saw your post. Absolutely beautiful!
If I only had the cash at the moment!
Need to sell a couple of rifles now to pay for it!

There's also a NIB Benelli Ethos 28ga on the EE right now too...but alas..the same issue...

If I haven't sold the rifles I have for sale by April, I will have the funds to buy the one I ultimately decide to get.
In the interim, I am doing my homework, reviewing the feedback I get here and hoping to be able to handle these three shotguns to help decide.

As time progresses and age catches up to me, I may find my mountain hunting becoming less or more limited and can foresee my time afield hunting upland birds with my wife more attractive and time consuming. (She's not up to mountain hunting)
Who knows, perhaps I will end up with one of each!
I do have more than a couple of rifles in the safe that took over 20 years of looking for to find and acquire...and they are fun to shoot, carry and hunt with!
