Discovered a couple of original SuperVel cases in my system, but you always have to be vigilant against those pesky Win +P nickel cases. They sneak in on occasion.

Never have I ever heard of a police agency contracting for a custom headstamp on ammunition. Most unusual. Finding some of the other headstamps mentioned is not in the same ballpark, they are common and more importantly are commercial, so they were sold to many different users.

A custom head stamp is easy to arrange. Cost for the bump die is $200

Just have to order enough brass from the factory to justify it. I had my own headstamp on a 40,000 pieces of 308Win brass. The cost of the headstamp die was insignificant.

Sure, but why? I don't see the rationale behind a police agency doing such a thing.

Oh sure, you're going to make me look for it. I put it away in a safe place so I wouldn't mix it in with my regular brass and load it. We all know how that goes. I will try to find it though.

yes, i know, mine i found in an Large ammo can that contained 1800 38Spl brass that I forgot I had for close to 10 years.
