BCL102 vs Troy102 vs Stag 10

I've been thinking of sending my BCL102 in to get Anodized, new guts, trigger & barrel. Might as well get it done sooner, because there may not be a later. Has anyone sent a BCL102 in to get this done? Or At least the anodizing? If so, who did you use?

Eh it's none of my business, but I would put it up for sale and buy a stag 10 before I'd go and drop that kind of money in the bcl. Cause I mean we are not upgrading for say, you are fixing what should have ben done right the first time?

Might as well just buy a Stag 10 ...

I'll put in for the Stag.

Better materials (anodized 7075 vs painted 6061) better fit & finish, better reliability, despite some early teething problems in the rush to get the guns into Canada. Lucky for me only a couple of my handguard screws weren't torqued to spec.

It'll feed and fire just about anything I stuff in the mag except Norinco, and the factory chrome lined barrel is plenty accurate.

Compare it like this: the BCL is that beater special pickup truck you buy off kijiji. The Stag is like a Sierra with the Denali package. I reckon the Troy falls somewhere in between.

I have a BCL102 MK7 (this is an older picture):

So far it's a dream. I've put 100rds through it without any issues or signs of abnormal wear. Still shooting 1.5moa with surplus 7.62 ammo. I replaced the mil-spec trigger with a triggertech, put an adjustable gasblock, and a muzzle brake. After dialing in the gas it feels like my 5,56 gun. The anodizing hold up very well, seeing as I dropped the gun off the table onto concrete and it had tiny scuffing on the handguard.
