Can't go wrong with a Beretta even a used one. Mossberg 930 is a strong contender for a budget semi that is new. Stoeger which is owned by Beretta has also came out with a sleeper that has surprised many reviewers. The M3500 is an inertia gun unlike the Mossberg and Berettas.

Any of the B guns are great choices (Beretta, Benelli, Browning); they all make excellent shotguns. I own a Beretta A400 Xplor Unico, and it has been flawless. I've shot a Browning maxus, and they're also nice guns. I've shot a few Benellis, and liked them all. I have a Remington Versa Max for competition, and it has been great too. Little heavier than the A400, but that's ideal for what I'm doing with it. Find one that fits you properly, first of all.

As usaual you get what you pay for if you plan on shooting a lot stay away from off shore guns they are expensive gor what you get stoger akar and a few other makes . Brand names if possible used is fine . There is s thread all ready going on this topic many good point and suggestions and even pricing on good quality autos
