What do you guys use to store/transport your pistols to the range?

What would you guys think of a rifle case with pluck and pull foam to store the pistols in a “vertical” sense with the mags and holster right beside it?

Double rifle case, with the "egg carton foam" inside.

Fits a rifle and a bunch of handguns and because the foam is not cut for a specific gun I can put whatever i feel like using in it. Works great for me.

Same, my guns never travel alone ;-)

I'm one of those guys who just packed them with my rifles. There's usually space for a rifle and at least two handguns. Good enough for a couple hours play.

Sometimes, I don't bring a rifle, then easily 8 handguns will fit in a rifle case. I do have a 4-gun plastic case that can fit up to 6 if you're desperate. Bought it at Reliable Gun 10 years ago.

I picked up a Nanuk 4Up during a Black Friday or Boxing Day sale last year or so; been my favourite way to transport my pistols, though the revolvers are a tad snug.

I’m really tempted by that as well, just wondering where I would put my holster in that situation

Find a used Halliburton Zero case with built in combination lock. look on kijiji for the deeper model which is similar to the briefcase, but twice as deep. Google halliburton camera case 18x13x6. The bottom will hold 4-5 pistols, and top will hold one inch foam that will cover whatever genius magazine storage you can think of. Cant think of a case I would rather have.

I have a soft range bag with two soft pistol sleeves so to speak. I lock the sleeves and don't have to lock the bag. I typically go to the range to practice so I don't empty my vault. One, maybe two handguns on any given trip. Demo days are another story...

Princess Auto Case - medium size, I think
