So I needed to get a extended/oversized bolt catch/release for the AR10 and since the options are fewer than that of the AR15 model, I purchased the Phase 5 BR V2 .308 and the made some mods to it to work for my application and the Norgon ambi mag release. I also nodded my ambi charge handle for greater ease of use. Check out the video for details.

Cool mods and good for you man, I love stories of how people have overcome disabilities, and continue a hobby or work. Even more so when custom parts or modifications are made to assist themselfs

This reminds me of when I was in Jamaica and a man was riding a motorcycle with one arm, he had a piece of string tied to the carburetor that he controlled by pulling it with his thumb

Id love to see you manipulate that rifle, your probably better at it one armed then I am with both

Thank you JP636, I have been successful thanks to ideas, knowledge, and support from the FA's community. I have also been successful in modifying my MTB with all the controls on the left side(brakes F/R, shifters F/R, as well as the controls for my snowmobile. It is difficult and frustrating at times to figure it all out, but it's all worth it in the end from the joy I get shouldering that Stag 10 and letting it rip, to wheeling my MTB or riding across the lake at 180km on the sled is priceless, whether you have one arm or two it's a feeling most will never experience in there lifetime all because they didn't even try. Its way to easy to give up and say you can't do something without even trying. HOO YAH!

Awesome to see the creativity that went into allowing you to do what most of us take for granted. Absolutely love the mods you did. Keep up the good work man and most importantly keep enjoying what you do.

With encouragement from yourself and my peers in the FA community, I will continue to do so. Thank you jx2781. GB :)
