I saw one of these at the Buffalo Gun Center. (Think it was going for about $450USD).
It's a very impressive piece to see and fondle in person. Well made has good heft to it. I imagined taking one out to the skeet range and shooting clays with the .410 and looking at the expressions on the other skeeters with their 28"bbl SG's
We've brought in quite a few over the past year... sold out every time. Another shipment is coming next week.
The gun is a 4.25" barrel "Restricted" handgun. The Snake Slayer IV comes in .410/45LC only at this time.
The barrels are interchangeable with their other Snake Slayer model so that gives US owners a wide variety of caliber options in addition to the standard .410/45LC... Problem up to now has been that these other calibers are all 3" or 3.5" barrels and therefore prohibited in Canada.
We have spoken to Bond Arms and they are working on making available to us one or two other calibers in 4.25" barrel lengths so we can offer them to our Canadian customers. No set date yet but I'm guessing we'll see a .38/.357mag barrel option and a .44mag barrel option in the not too distant future.
I haven't shot one... they're never here long enough to really get out and play with... usually either pre-sold before they arrive or they quickly sell out once they get here.
In the US they are very popular as a small carry gun, especially from inside a car... saw a demo once at just how awesome they can be during a "car-jack" scenario.
