new colt python YIKES

Take it with a grain of salt but it seems that Colt is saying (at Shot Show) there were issues with 60 of them at assembly that had parts interchanged, that were no interchangeable. They are saying it's a non-issue now. What are the odds that 1 in 30 would show up with youtubers?
 
Time will tell. I cant afford to take that chance for that price.

When Hickok says he's disapointed, Colt done messed up.

they had to cheap out on something to make it somewhat affordable. Depending how big the issue is they will fix those guns or the next production guns
 
If anyone has either of those 2 "issues", they can send them to me and I'll fix them free of charge the same day I get them. THAT's how sure I am that these are non issues.
 
Colt is just keeping their investors happy, same as Remington.

As for quality : garbage in, garbage out. Who cares, as long as they make $1k profit per overhyped gun sold...
 
Sad to see there are issues with the new colt, pretty disheartening given the track record of this amazing company, and especially a 2K plus revolver, I will never buy one, I'll keep my pre lock SWs they have never skipped a beat for 1000s of rounds
 
One point that really gets me BOILING is that they dam well knew that there was problems ...and what did Colt do.......they went ahead and shipped them to Honest Trusting Dealers to sell to the public....knowing Darn well that there was going to be Issues.
They are now taking back some of the guns that were shipped to the dealers...."only because they are caught red handed by all the video's and back lash". What the heck kind of Circus are they trying to pull off ?
