I have a Ruger on the way with what appears to be a “medium” set of rings. I want low. I assume that the front medium ring can become the rear low ring and so I would only require a “front low” ring to make a complete low set. I’m I on track there? Thanks.

For Leupold 40mm objectives, the lowest fit is #3 front, #4 rear... the "B" is the Blued model, K is stainless, and M means a matte finish. If the scope is an AO 40mm you will need a #4/#5 set, 50mm objectives require a #4/#5 set. This is sizing for M77 rifles only... the 77/22 & 77/44(357) series and No.1 rifles use the same height ring front and back.

Mine takes #3 front and #4 rear for a Bushnell TrophyII 3X9-40 I can't go any lower. Will you be mounting a 32mm scope?
