I’ve had a spectre for a while. Runs great, eats anything I’ve put through it, I personally like the balance but I could see how some might not, very close to the shoulder. My only real issue with it is that in order to disassemble it you have to really get in there, more steps than you’d expect. Feels like you’re taking every nut, bolt, pin, and spring out if you want to do a thorough clean/lube. I like simplified designs where you remove a thumb nut and can almost fully strip the gun, no tools required. It’s not difficult to strip, but it definitely isn’t convenient. Not a huge fan of the top rail either, it’s not really attached very solidly to the barrel, a pin on the front and a spring clamp on the back. It’s a shotgun so not really going to be an accuracy issue but for a gun that seems over-engineered it almost feels like an afterthought. By no means a bad shotgun in my books, just a bit unique.
