I am looking for a cheap to reasonably priced muzzle loading shotgun that can be used with steel shot.Anythought or p[rior experience would be mucho appreciated.

I would look for a used pedrsoli or safari arms(also a pedersoli) as they have crome lined bbls,I bought one recently for $300 but have yet to try it with steel. I shot some ducks on saturday with it but used bismuth,with the steel you will have to use the thick steel wads so that it doesn't contact the bbl. I don't use steel because its not possible to get the velocity high enough to be efficient at longer ranges ;ie 30yards. I usually use an antique 10ga sxs so I use the bismuth, its expensive as hell but it kills better than the steel in the frontstuffer. The cheap cva is not a very good gun a friend of mine has one in 20 ga it kicks like a mule and sometimes doubles if you #### both bbls.
The navy arms is also a pedersoli. Its a lot of fun hunting with a muzzleloader when everyone is using the latest 31/2'' super cannon!

+2 for the pedersoli and +2 for bismuth. i have a double flinter which could take steel (IC & M), but i feel better using bismuth.
expensive, but i bought 1 bottle 2 years ago and i'm still using it.
some of the pedersolis supposedly take steel, but i prefer the velocity of bismuth myself. and i work close, i don't shoot til i see their beady little eyes.
