I am about to buy an AR-15, but I am concerned about the availability and price of ammo. I don't want to pay $1/ round. Any suggestions as to where to buy cheap .223 ammo?

is any of the stuff they sell by the case corrosive (ie military ammo)?

I'm looking at getting an AR180b and from what I understand they don't have a chrome lined barrel...

Do they make .223 corrosive?? This is winchester ammo... not some far away former commie ammo, but I think Marstar has that too. But it won't work in your AR.:yingyang:

Well I thought the whole reason behind corrosive primers is a long shelf life (ie military stockpiles) and thus I assumed that ammo sold in 1200 round cases would be military stuff...

Then again not all military ammo is corrosive and I wasn't sure so that's why I asked...

You had BETTER choose the AR! Every able bodied Canadian should get some experience with our military's battle rifle in some form or another.

The AR is a rifle, the Storm is a really long handgun.

I hear there's a way to get that experience and you don't even have to buy your own rifle.
