I took both Mosin 44 and SKS out for a drive last week, thinking to use M44 to harvest something and SKS as backup. But somehow when I saw that bear feeding on berries, I grabbed SKS by mistake. So I had to shoot that bear with my SKS. I've been tired of adding score under my SKS's name. But since you brought this topic up, I thought I'd better add another bear under her name. One shot kill.

I touched an SKS once. I felt dirty, and rushed home to shower.
Supercub, although I thought I would have the same result with a 7600, one showed up at camp as a backup gun and it was actually rather nice.

i'd honestly take the sks more reliable better made and probilby more acurate and lesslikly to detonate in my face killing me plus he probly can't shoot worth a damned so him havign a bolt action will put him at a serious disaddvantage giving the me a chance to kill him with the sks

Just thinking of all the POS scopes, rings, and bases you can use. . .I think I'd go for the SKS. Military-strength iron sights over poorly done optic setup ANY DAY. I prefer the calibers that the 710 comes in, but if I can't hit anything with it, who cares?
