Does anyone know if they work? I’m going to build a classic style AR-10 off a Stag 10 and was hoping the 12” plastic rifle length handguard for the AR-15 (M16 style) fit with .308 barrel nut/delta ring? If it does, then I assume the AR-15 handguard end cap works?

Thanks for your input I really appreciate it.

it will depend on the barrel you put on. If you use a barrel with a std barrel nut and something that uses a traditional handguard cap at the gas block journal - where the A frame of the front sight would be, then they should work.

I was going to order the DPMS Gen 1 barrel nut, well spring, retainer clip, and delta ring. Seems as though on the US threads it’s good to go with people putting Magpul MOE handguards for AR-15 on the DPMS AR-10.

There are two different rifle length gas tube locations. Most use a standard AR15 gas tube. That is too short to use rifle length handguards with. You want a barrel that uses the Armalite AR-10 gas tube. They lengthened it so that standard rifle handguards could be used. I believe Stag barrels use the shorter tube.
