Barrel Porting suggestions?

I've got a shorty 44 that's a lot less fun to shoot than my long barrel rigs. I was kicking around the idea of getting her ported but I'm having trouble finding anyone to do the work. Any recommendations?


I'm located in southern Alberta but would consider shipping if I couldn't find someone local.

Magnaport does a good job. Stateside, though there used to be a dealer in MB if memory serves. - dan

No more Magnaport in Manitoba, had a Marlin done years ago worked well
You would have to do an ATF form 6 in order to send to Magnaport in Michigan

Ideally I'd keep the length the same. I've also never seen a compensator on a classic wheelgun but I feel like it would be something of an abomination hahaha

No dice - I have some anemic plinking rounds loaded for fun but I want to be able to run the heaters too. The Dlask suggestion is a good one though.

Dlask didn't want the work either. I'm thinking I might be out of luck north of the border.
