so i recently picked up a AR-10 and i recieved a order of an assortment of magazines to try out in the rifle.
i find that i like the ASC magazines but i do not like how they are almost flush mount on the bottom of the magwell with only a inch or so hanging down of the magazine.
i like a little meat there so i can pull the magazine out if need be specifically with gloved hands as i do a lot of winter shooting.

so i thought maybe id look around for a replacement floor plate with some extension on it.

i seem to be having a issue locating any.

anyone know of any or better yet does anyone run some and if so what brand, any good and where did you source them out?

i just killed 20 minutes on Magpul's website and they have USGI Ranger Plates for 5.56 but i cant find any for 7.52

any help would be great.

From Magpul Customer Service:

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately the USGI ranger plates that we have are only for the 5.56 and not the 7.62. I am not sure why we only carry them for the AR15 and not the 10 but since we have had these for a long time I don't expect for us to manufacture them for the AR10 style. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Customer Comment/Question:
do you make USGI Ranger Plates for 7.62 magazines? not the P-mag floor plates.
i ask because i recently got a AR-10 and im running ASC magazines and i would love to put your Ranger Plates on them like i have on my 5.56 magazines but i cant seem to see them listed on your website.

im gonna go ahead and make a wild guess that your running PMAG's.
they make them for PMAG's.
they do not make them for USGI (metal) mag's.

im pretty sure i say that in post #1.

I must have missed that part. But since PMAGs are pretty much industry standard... buy some and don't look back. Otherwise you're SOL.
