Howdy Folks, with the recent purchase of a Serbu RN-50 I'd like to start reloading for it. I've believe the lee press kit is about as cheap as I'm going to get press wise. Where do you guys get your powder, bullets, primers and brass. Seems like theres not too many Canadian companies selling this stuff.

What components are you guys using? Mainly powder, brass and bullets? I'm not looking to shoot the nutz off a flea but I'd like to shoot somewhat accurately out to 1000 yards.

Any 50 cal tips for a newbie? I've owned several black powder 50 cal cartridges but this smokeless is a whole different ball game.

I also looked at the Lee when I first started reloading 50BMG, but some members on here told me not to buy the Lee, to go with ATRS or Dillon. They stated that they broke their Lee's, I know some member swear by them. I was going to buy ATRS, but found a deal a great deal on Dillon. Dillon is a progressive loader, most are single stage. I believe Budget shooter supplies has pulled 50 BMG projectiles, I used CCI 50 BMG primers and Hodgdon US869 powder, I use 255 grains of this behind a 650gr bullets. I bought primers and powder from Fast Toys who is on here, best price I could find was from them. I bought CH4d swager, RCBS Dies which won't fit in the lee, Le Wilson case trimmer and RCBS 50 BMG powder measure. I hope that helps. One thing else I learned, is use LCC (Lake City) brass not Winchester (WCC), Winchester brass after resizing it, it would not pass my case gauge but Lake City was just fine

Yes, I have pulled bullets, once fired brass, powder, primers in stock. I will have the Lee 50 BMG press kit in stock in approx 10 days.

Thanks Curtis, good to know, i think im leaning in the direction of the lee press. I dont plan on loading a ton of ammo so i think it should work.

That is a good deal for his reloading stuff, tenda had pmc factory ammo for cheap probably the best bet unless you make friends with someone who will help you make some ammo on there equipment.

Ordered a case of the PMC. I'll be saving all the brass to reload. I would love to buy the RCBS but unfortunately its above my budget.

how accurate are pulled M33 ball projectiles? I hear some guys push them through a lee .510 sizing die before they load them. The hornady A-max are quite expensive. I can get woodleigh 800gr solids for 3$ a piece.
