Clays at a distance!

Digweed is a pleasure to watch and arguably the very best shot gunner in the world.

There's another video of him on youtube at a party where it appears that lots of alcohol is being consumed and he and a buddy play a trick on another guy, it's absolutely hilarious! I'll look for it later on.

There is no doubt he is the best shotgun shooter ever, but I think he has fallen off from the current “best”. His World Championship total is all but untouchable. A very approachable nice, guy as well.

The current contenders are good but they have a long way to go before knocking king George off of his throne!

Information can be deceiving too, the current Guinness book record holder for a long clay's shot is Silvana Mangano for a 105 yard shot with a standard sporting clay's load. Digweed switched to a non-standard (#5) load at 90 yards and went back to 130 yards and there were no Guinness judges watching so it doesn't count for a record but I'd bet money that Digweed could use the same ammo to break Silvana's record!

I believe 5 shot in Britain is equivalent to north american 6 shot
 
Hypothetically speaking, is it fair to compare the dusting of a clay at this distance 130 yards that this could be equal to him harvesting a mallard or pheasant using his choice of shotshell?
Just put aside any discussion toxic versus non toxic shot.

Curious.....
 
This should answer the question weather to use 7/8 oz of 1 oz at the 16 yd line when shooting ata trap . You have to hit it and your timing is important . We would practice shooting targets on there downward flight path in fact we would try and shoot them as close to the ground as possible not easy but once you found the timing / how far underneath to hold the gun we would get s few they were a long ways out there
