Kodiak Defence 180 NSR

Ok Thanks, The question was has anyone actually received the new version,,,
I'm pretty sure we're for the most part,aware of the shortcomings of the earlier iteration.

TBH the charging handle putting wear on upper is not a big deal. The 180 system runs on the 2 guide rails that's not part of the upper. Really the only job upper is doing is to retain the barrel and back of the guide rail plate.

Non-reciprocating side charger is nice, it also addresses the issue of big opening on the side.

I would of went left side only charging handle with a spring loaded dust cover like a galil ace
Alternatively, a right side only charging handle angled up like an old galil

Keep it simple stupid. Switchable charging handles wasn't needed.

Galil surplus is $1600 USD. Galil Ace is $1900 USD.

They were to be shipping in early January.

What does that have to do with my idea? A scar and the 180c both have a reversible charging handle, doesn't mean the 180c costs 4k because the scar does
Plus the upswept rh only charging handle was how the 180b originally came(or early version anyways says google).

If the galil was available I'd buy one, the one in 308 I shot was way smoother than I expected.

You have asked this question twice since your question was answered. Here is your answer again. And just in case you still can't it figure out, the correct answer is NOBODY has one yet.

Both WK's I've seen in person have broken, one with a snapped piston.

I'd never buy anything made by Kodiak, and when you add North Sylva into the mix.......

Agreed. I struggle to think of a single thing on this forum worse than you-know-who. Not to mention there are lots of reasons to not buy this now with the new wolverine rifle out. Heck, the new Coyote looks pretty slick too!!
 
I have an interest in the NSR as well, classic trope of people being more likely to say something if they hate it. Overall I just dislike side charging handles so I'm curious to give it a shot.
