CZ 452 American Farewell Edition

OMG...........!!!!!...................izz that a crack I see?........................:runaway:

I was thinking the very same thing....
But, figured the only crack was the guy leaving the first comment ;)

Nice gun Dave, very nice gun...envious of the low numbered gun.
Should have acted sooner, but funding was/ is low due to the two Kimberlies that came home with me weeks earlier.

Best Regards,
Rob

Well that was quick.......0010 is home and safe........the blueing on the bolt is really interesting, it's almost case hardened but a very calming solid blue/silver/grey depending on the light......I'll have pictures up tonight after dinner..........the stock is to die for.........no buyers remorse for me

Great purchase the fire blued bolt handle is indeed a nice touch. Fire bluing works well on small screws I have done a few.
Indeed a cherished purchase. Thanks for sharing.

Nice looking rifle. Bluing looks great Thanks for sharing. Is 10 of 1000 marked on the action?

on the left side of the action at the back.......

once you have seen the jeweled bolt in person, one looks at the bolt on the old 452 classic and thinks to himself........hmmmm

"one of a thousand" is engraved on the top of the barrel

So I just received a text a few hours ago from a good friend. #0001 was sold earlier today.....

....

......the legit "one of a thousand".....

.............

and it wasn't to me! ARGHGHGHGH! If only I had known about it sooner! ovrec

I'm pretty sure my friend would have bought it had he realized what # was in the box beforehand too!

Can't win them all, but dang, that would have brightened up the day considerably!

Is it me, or have these been on the verge of discontinuation for like the last 10 years as they try to convince ppl to buy the much more cheaply made 455?

I would have thought they would be sold out by now since there were supposedly under 100 available in Canada. Prices have dropped recently by site sponsors.

At $999.00 on sale, it’s still a no-go for me. Very pretty and all that, but with 4 other CZs, why would I ruin the potebtial collector value by shooting it? Why would I buy the Lexus E350 at a large premium over the Camry when they essentially drive the same, and the Camry isn’t badly finished either.

I hope I don’t get into Yodave’s ignore list.

At $999 I’d have bought one if it had been built on the Lux pattern. It’s a CZ, so I doubt it’ll ever be collectable, but hunting with a pretty gun is much more satisfying. Have something to look at on the days I see no rabbits.

Anyone on here knows if the American version Grand Finale is available here in Canada. Looks much nicer than the Farewell Edition.

No. Canada and Australia got the Farewell (maybe NZ or some others too?), but the Grand Finale was American only. For an extra $250, you could always import one that you find for sale...

I got one here in Canada. And I wouldn't trade it for any 457, either. It's still unfired.

I am curious to know if the grande finale is a 1 of 1000 production run like the farewell edition .?
