My handy gopher buster out to 75 yards.
Used my old 10/22 receiver for budget build, 10" Ruger barrel 80.00, used AA stock kit for 100.00, scope, rails, brake, sling, adjustable buttstock from my parts bin. Sits just under 27 inches.
My buddy did a 2.5lb trigger job, and a auto bolt release mod, way nicer to shoot.

Not a .22 but still a rimfire.
This Savage .17 Savage is a laser to shoot! Scope has the holdover built in, super accurate to 250 yards! Short barrel, adjustable trigger, light, and handy as well for a truck gun or in gopher fields. Don't use my .223 much anymore.

My son's STG 44/22, so much fun to shoot, all metal, eats everything! He is a big kid, handles the 9.5lbs of heft just fine.
