Yet another Stag-10 build question

Stag 10s are forward assist, so you don’t have to worry about a slick side upper.
In the event you were building a regular Ar10, you have the choice of both pending on your desires (order whatever upper you need).

Since the stag 10 is proprietary, the only upper available is the 1 and it is a forward assist

You may want to review how to build an AR15 and AR10s via YouTube, or find a diagram on google (just search AR15 parts list and look underneath images tab).

Most stags 10s came already with the upper parts kit (minus the big stuff like HG, barrel, BCG, gas and gas system)... so that means it already should have the forward assist installed and the ejection port cover.

The lower should already have the takedown pins, and most sets I saw even included the grip (generally a Hogue one).

Depends on what level or ‘stripped’ receiver set you have

I found Brownells to be the best one stop shop.
Just use their search function.
I found using AR308 found better results than AR10.
Such as AR308 HandGuard,AR 308 buffer tube assembly,etc.

You need AR 308
Buffer tube assembly ( milspec)
Bustock ( milspec)
AR 308 Charging Handle
AR308 BCG
AR 308 Hand-guard
Barrel.
You need to know what size your Gas block journal is, for your barrel and what length ( rifle or mid length)
Once you know that , for example if it’s .750 GB journal , you order a .750 Gasblock and whatever gas tube you need.( rifle or mid length.
Make sure your Gas block comes with a roll pin, if not you’ll need to order one of those as well.

Not sure if I missed anything.

But as stated, your set should already have an Ejection port cover(dust cover)
Forward assist (FA)
Lower parts kit ( LPK) including trigger and pistol grip.
Take down down pins.
If you got a complete stripped set then you’ll need the above parts as well.

It’s really a lot easier to assemble than you think. You tube is your friend :)

Boy, not sure how I overlooked this, but I believe I left out a buffer tube for my build on my order from Brownells. Am going with the magpul PRS gen iii and wondering where to get the rifle length tube from? Have done a bunch of searching, having a blank moment.

You can use a carbine length for the Gen 3 PRS. Gen 2 needed the rifle length tube.
